Des Moore
- This was the original West of England Fire Insurance Company Fire Brigade station in Exeter from 1834 to 1888.The building housed the engine house and stabling plus accommodation.
The building appears to be on a very cramped site, but it originally had an exercise yard at the front. In 1931 the service moved to Danes Castle
